I am giving thanks and blessings to the Divine High for the faith, the Ancestors for the guidance, family and for the love and friends for the support during 2012. Tribulations and hard work has enabled me to have a prosperous year with business ventures, work enlightments, community collaborations and capacity building.

HIGHLIGHTS OF 2012

JANUARY – GHANA. Spending the New year in Ghana with family, visiting the Shea Butter Womens Cooperative in Tamale which I sponsor. Also had an initiation ceremony by the Bator village in Volta Region.

FEBRUARY – HEAD WRAP WORKSHOP. Enjoying showing the sisters how to create that empress look.

MARCH – The African Apprentice Scheme with the focus group in partnership with Ghanaian Londoners.

APRIL – Kitchen Treasures Workshop. Guests learn how to use natural ingrediants from the kitchen, bathroom and garden. (Workshop Review)

MAY – THE CALABASH HUB PRODUCTS. The Shea Body Smothers can now be purchased at Pempamsie in Brixton, London.

JUNE – EARTHSTRONG celebrations in the CARIBBEAN of St Martin, Guadeloupe and St Barths. (Holiday Review)

JULY – UZIMA EXPO. Co Founded the first Natural Holistic Expo 2012 (Uzima Review)

AUGUST – AFRICAN FASHION WEEK LONDON a 2 day event. (AFWL Review)

SEPTEMBER – HEAD WRAP WORKSHOP with some of the empresses showing off their creations.

OCTOBER – H.A.I.R Exhibition partner celebrating History, Attitude, Identity and Respect of hair through film, workshops, debates and art. (HAIR Review)

NOVEMBER – SWEET HANDZ Chopping time with friends at one of my favourite Ghanaian restaurant.

DECEMBER – KWANZAA CELEBRATIONS. Jamming with the community at Kwanzaa event in London.
